Often, companies have to deal with large quantities of name and address data in different files, for example:
- Loading batches of new data into a data warehouse
- Merging data from different corporate systems

As well as the usual phonetic and other keying errors, the data is usually structured differently and entered to different standards. Consequently, you can load data into the wrong fields as well as add duplicates. This compromises the quality of your data warehouse or marketing database, to the extent that it can seriously undermine its value.

You use the same sophisticated engine as helpIT systems' award-winning matchIT suite package, but integrated into your system and database, so you can standardise, restructure and match batches of data. Whilst the matchIT API determines which records match, you perform the database updates in your calling program, so you remain in complete control – you can remove duplicates, create subsidiary records, export records to a separate file or simply place flags within the database.
