To put it in perspective, think of a typical day in the United States: USPS processes 43 million change of address requests each year- representing about 18% of all American households and business relocating to a new address in a given 12 month period.
The addressIT Module now incorporates Move Update processing to allow you to link your data to the USPS database and return the new addresses for the individual, family, or business that have changed address. Move Update is actually a variety of services under one umbrella. It is a program initiated by the USPS as a means of correcting the huge problem of Undeliverable-as-Addressed mail by linking your mailing address data back to the USPS postal database.
These services include:
- National Change of Address Linkage System (also known as NCOALink®)
- Address Change Service (ACS)
- FASTforward MLOCR -
- On-piece ancillary service endorsements, except ``Forwarding Service Requested”
The addressIT module is integrated into your already easy to use matchIT interface; simply set the NCOALink® option and your lists are processed in real time. Data integration functions in matchIT allow you to specify and control how you return the new data back to your list or database.
