matchIT SQL allows single and dual dataset matching for US, UK, European and worldwide data. For example, a single dataset job can find duplicate records within an existing customer universe, and a two dataset job can compare that universe with a suppression dataset, or compare a new data feed with the universe.
No programming needed
matchIT SQL offers a web based user interface to XML configuration files, to enable the user to run jobs with varying matching requirements. No programming is needed to implement it – just database configuration skills and permissions. matchIT SQL utilizes our highly successful platform-independent engine, the matchIT API, so that its matching capabilities have already been proven on all types of data to meet all kinds of business requirements. matchIT SQL monitors its own processing and can terminate and restart problem processes, ensuring that very large datasets can be reliably processed (even when these datasets contain bad data).
Matching levels
matchIT SQL allows matching to be carried out simultaneously at various levels:
- Business (company level)
- Household (address level)
- Family (last name and address level)
- Individual (full name and address level)
These levels can all be extensively customized and tuned using match keys, weights and a very flexible array of matching settings and constraints. Matches are graded to allow effective automation of decisions for differing business requirements.
Interfacing with matchIT SQL
Implementing the matching logic is a CLR assembly comprising SQL Server stored procedures (written in .NET) which can be called through SQL scripts, or can be executed directly from a calling process. This provides great flexibility in interfacing with the matching logic e.g. from a web service, a Windows application or an SSIS package. Matching pairs and matching groups are written to database tables which are created by matchIT SQL within the SQL Server database. Example scripts are supplied with the product to help you to get up and running straight away.
